Elder Pyre

In Elder Pyre, Eldritch horrors are attacking from the Elder Wood and you, the Pyrelock, fuel the anti-monster defense platform by feeding the trapped eldritch being within it. Players best be wary as the forest has not the patience for mortal idling, tracking your movements awaiting their moment to strike. Through efficient navigation, resource usage, and combat prowess, you can survive the night to live to another day.

I would like to say it is an interesting concept and it is fairly difficult trying to manage resources to protect the Pyre. It did take me a while that the movement was also used to attack creatures and grab resources but was able to figure it out similar to old 90s games. Gave a little bit of nostalgia with that.

I was only able to get through two waves of monsters before getting overwhelmed on my third wave during my playthroughs. I'd say it became increasingly difficult by the time I reached that point while also needing to travel further for resources. I also couldn't figure out how to feed/fix the Pyre, if that was possible but would be nice if I could.

I did find how some trees and stones took the same amount of damage but yielded different amount of resources a little weird. It would be nice if the trees and stones that yielded less resources required less hits and help with management. There were also a few instances where I accidentally placed/upgraded towers by moving too close when an enemy came into camp or holding the movement keys for too long.
